Internal Auditor (Temp)

A small, well-established accounting firm is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to step in on a short-term contract and provide immediate impact. If youre confident in leading audits independently, thrive in hands-on environments, and enjoy working closely with business owners, this is the ideal opportunity for you.

What Youll Do:

• Lead and execute full audit cycles from planning to final reporting
• Review financial statements, working papers, and compliance with relevant standards
• Identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance where needed
• Engage directly with clients to ensure a smooth and professional audit process

• Proven senior-level audit experience within public practice
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
• Ability to manage audits independently in a fast-paced, small-firm environment
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and professional judgement
