Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full financial function with confidence and ownership
• Oversee stock management end-to-end - including reconciliations, valuation, controls, and investigations of discrepancies
• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, reporting packs, and commentary
• Strengthen internal controls across finance and operations
• Drive cost discipline, margin visibility, and continuous improvement
• Partner with operational teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
• Implement processes that support scale, efficiency, and business continuity
• Manage audits, compliance, and governance requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Degree (with completed articles being highly beneficial)
• 3+ years experience in a Financial Manager role
• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or production environments
• Strong stock experience - this is a non-negotiable
• Confident personality with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive accountability
• Solid understanding of the full finance function (GL to FS)
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency
• High attention to detail with the ability to perform under pressure
