Financial Manager (CA(SA)

High profile Financial Services company seeks a skilled CA(SA) with 5 - 6 years post qualifying working experience from within Financial Services / Investment / Corporate Finance / Merchant Banking

Reporting to the executive, we are seeking a dynamic CA(SA) to fulfill the following important duties:

• Produce and distribute monthly management reports to agreed timeframes.
• Prepare consolidated quarterly management accounts .
• Produce detailed quarterly cash flow forecasts.
• Produce required financial reports and monthly management accounts for internal and external distribution.
• Produce annual financial reports and statements to agreed timeframes to comply with relevant legislation and legal frameworks.
• Group consolidation for the year-end purposes.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the group.
• Oversee, supervise, and direct the work performed by several Financial Accountants.
• Review contracts and write technical papers in terms of the treatment of various investments.
• All relevant reconciliations are produced and accurate
• Establish and ensure implementation and adherence to finance policies, procedures, and systems.
• Ensure that payments are made.
• Ensure that payroll reconciles on an annual basis.
• Compliance and statutory work.
• Income tax computations
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements relating to financial control, financial management, and accounting.
• Ensure appropriate external audit arrangements are in place and manage the audit process.
• Stay up to date with technical developments relevant to the role (changes in IFRS, Tax and legislation, and other regulatory changes).
• Maintaining consolidation and monitoring back-ups and testing of back-ups.
• Filing of VAT return and performance of VAT reconciliation.
