Creditors Clerk

Scope and General Purpose:

To assist management with the day-to-day compilation and completion of all financial and statistical returns required by the company

Responsible to:

Accounting Manager

Assistant accountant

Financial Manager

Executive Director

Responsible for:

No One

Hours of Work:

Maximum of 45hours per week

Limits of Authority:

According to each establishment

Key performance Areas:

• Full function Creditors
• Processing weekly payment
• Sending statement, invoices, strong recons experience
• General administrative duties
• Reconciliation of all creditors accounts
• Cash debtors
• Daily processing of invoices
• Professional handing of customer queries
• Assist with cost control duties
• Responsible for ad hoc duties in order to maintain excellent service delivery

Key Indicators:

• Time accuracy
• Must be able to work in a high pressurised environment
• Deliver high level of customer care

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric or Grade 12
• Applicable tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position
• Excellent communication skills
• Accurate and have great attention to details
• Deadline driven
• Pastel experience Evolution would be advantageous
• Preparing payment authorisation in terms on SLAs, contracts and purchase orders.
• Excellent communications skills
• Must be deadline driven
• Must have Analytical skills/Problem solver
• Ability to apply procedures
• High level excel and email skills for reporting purposes
• Attention to details
• Ability to apply procedures
• Understanding SARS requirements
