CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The purpose of this post is to plan, design and collaboratively facilitate learning and teaching development activities in order to impact positively on student learning at Nelson Mandela University. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

To coordinate and participate in the processes of rendering a comprehensive higher education learning and teaching strategy to all academic staff at Nelson Mandela University
To closely monitor, determine and support the needs of academic staff pertaining to learning, teaching and assessment matters on the George campus
To implement the Academic Induction Programme for newly appointed academics on the George campus
