Financial Accountant

A reputable and established name in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their high-performing finance team based in Centurion.

This permanent opportunity is ideal for a technically strong and detail-oriented finance professional looking to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic, project-driven environment. You will play a key role in accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong accounting processes, and ensuring effective financial management across multiple projects and divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
• Maintain the general ledger and perform reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Provide analytical insights to improve financial accuracy, cost control, and operational efficiency
• Assist with project accounting and cost tracking within the construction environment

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom degree (Accounting or Finance)
• 35 years' experience in a full-function accounting role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability, and analytical skills
• Experience within the construction industry will be highly advantageous
• Exposure to the Full Finance Function (General Ledgers / Recons / Trial Balance) processes
