Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and oversee the full financial function
• Handle GL, reconciliations, and TB, and assist with preparation up to FS
• Provide accurate and timeous financial support to operational teams
• Maintain cost controls and support project/operational costing
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports
• Work extensively on BuildSmart (construction)

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Degree & completed articles
• 1+ years post-articles experience
• Construction industry experience highly beneficial
• Exposure to the full financial function (GL / recons / TB / FS)
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, hands-on environment
