Job Description:Allocate and import bank statements, ensuring accurate reconciliation of receipts and transactionsProcess customer refunds, credit notes, discounts, and price adjustmentsManage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding debtsProactively contact clients via phone, email, and letters to collect outstanding amountsReview credit applications, perform credit checks, and set appropriate credit limitsMaintain accurate records of client communication and payment arrangementsCollaborate with sales teams to resolve account-related issuesEscalate irregularities and recommend legal or collection action where necessarySend Payfast payment links/instructions and allocate successful paymentsReconcile cash, EFT, and card clearing accountsConduct monthly debtor reviews, including overdue balances, adjustments, statements, and partnership collections, and submit to the bankMonitor weekly outstanding invoices and credit balancesReconcile and analyse retail accountsRespond to internal and external enquiries regarding invoices, proof of delivery, and reconciliationsEnsure enquiries are handled promptly and escalated to the appropriate parties when neededMaintain strong working knowledge of the POS/retail system Skills & Experience: At least 3 years experience in similar roleRetail, FMCG or Manufacturing experience.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines Qualification:MatricA tertiary qualification advantageousProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Sage For more information connect with us on
