With a dynamic startup environment, they are expanding their Cape Town team and offering ambitious professionals the chance to make a real impact while growing their skills across finance and operations.The Role: FinOps AnalystThis role supports both financial operations and funding cycles, ensuring accuracy of accounting data and alignment across systems like Sage and Salesforce. Youll be involved in reconciliations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, while also contributing to operational processes. Its a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup setting and wants exposure beyond pure finance.Key ResponsibilitiesMinimum 2 years experience in an accounting or finance rolePost accurate bookkeeping entries and manage reconciliationsReconcile bank accounts and investigate anomaliesEnsure data integrity between Sage and SalesforceSupport month-end close processesAssist with loan funding processes and payment disbursementsManage holding accounts and capture loan-level dataCreate internal and external financial reportsIdentify and recommend process improvementsSupport client queries and send monthly account statementsAbout YouBCOM Accounting degree or equivalentAt least 2 years accounting experience using financial software Able to do accounting entries on an accounting platform (e.g. Sage)Familiar with Salesforce or willing to learnAnalytical thinker with strong numerical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a startup environmentStrong communicator and team playerOpen to learning operational processes alongside financeUK hours: Winter 10:0018:30 | Summer 09:3018:00 (SA time)
