AP Controller

A leading energy business, that operates in various countries, is seeking a AP Controller to join their team on a 6 month contract.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the Accounts Payable team
• Ensure proper invoice control, receipt, and matching
• Accrue for unrecorded invoices at month-end
• Assist in timely month-end closing
• Perform monthly supplier balance confirmations (Top 10)
• Maintain effective record management
• Support timely completion of external audits

Purchase Orders

• Process and manage purchase orders
• Maintain proper contract records

Treasury Management

• Handle VESA and Bidco payments
• Prepare cash forecasts
• Liaise with banks on transaction issues
• Print and share daily bank statements
• Execute inward payments and weekly bank reconciliations

Travel Transactions

• Manage card transactions
• Review and approve transactions for SAP
• Report on outstanding user transactions
• Handle P Card applications, renewals, and limit changes
• Reconcile P Card vendor account

What we are looking for:

• Qualification: Diploma in Finance, Economics
• 8-10 years' relevant experience
• Strong ERP system knowledge (SAP S/4HANA preferred)
• Commercial and procurement understanding
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Team player with a flexible, customer-focused mindset
