General Worker

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

· Conduct various tasks to support other workers in warehouses, construction sites, and factories.

· Assist other crew members by delivering the materials and equipment necessary to complete projects on time.

· Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.

· Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.

· Operate machinery and equipment as needed.

· Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

· Provide support to other staff members as needed.

· Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs

· Comply with company policies and legal guidelines

· Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

· Grade 12, Literacy and Numeracy equivalent

· Must be efficient, accurate, focused and attention to detail

· Must have numeracy and literacy skills

· Self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile

· Honest and show integrity

· Clear criminal record

· Reliable, punctual, trustworthy and presentable.

· Sorting and storage of goods

· Stock counting

· Keep working area clean and neat

· Reliable and trustworthy

· Must be a team player and adapt to change easily.

· Parcel Perfect proficient is advantageous (Internal candidates will receive training)

· Attention to detail and accuracy, familiarity with industrial equipment

· Excellent communication skills (Proficient in English & Afrikaans)

· Sound knowledge of loading/offloading procedures.

· Always clear warehouse of empty pallets

· Move physical stock from Receiving area to holding bay.

· Assistance with Cycle Counts
