Description
Our national client is looking for a dynamic, well seasoned Head of Debtors to ensure that the retail group of Companies cash flow is maximised, and credit risk is minimized through efficient debt collection and active monitoring of accounts.
Core Job Accountabilities:
Ensure that the credit, billing, and collection policies are developed for approval, communicated to divisions, and adhered to.
Maintain Debtors data base by deleting (placing on hold) inactive stores, updating store contact details, ensuring uniformity in store naming conventions and account numbers, linking store accounts to account groups, and confirming accuracy of banking details
Ensure the onboarding process for new stores is adhered to and the relevant debit order collection documents and credit applications are signed and filed for all companies
Run consolidated age analysis monthly for all companies and provide comments on overdue accounts and circulate to the team
Run the debit order collections for all companies and perform receipting for all collection batches
Ensure invoicing is completed timeously for all companies by the relevant invoicing staff
Run Statements to Stores
Follow up on overdue accounts resolve through direct interaction with Store
Run the monthly debtors meeting
Balance accounts receivable to GL
Manage the query resolution process for billing and credit
Implement several projects for the group (ie

Min 5 years experience in Debtors at a senior level essential.

Proficiency in Syspro
Previous experience in Debtors in retail sector highly advantageous

· Conduct internal
product audits & help with customer product audit
· Ensure corrective
actions are closed off within the required time & monitor daily, plan ahead
weekly
· Ensure that
operators manufacture parts to targets set & OEE requirements
· Notifies
the Shift Manager of any Jig/Machine malfunction immediately. Has authority to
stop production in this regard
· Checks product
visually or with checking fixture & notifies Manager of any
non-conformance
· Assist with PSW to
customers if & when required
· Ensure the last off
is left in welding jig for inspection
· Ensure correct
parts get packed into correct containers
· Conducts audit on
quality management systems
