Description
Global freight forwarding business is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. The purpose of the role is to manage and oversee all aspects of finance within the business including commercially managing the companies trade finance business
Responsibilities:
Budgeting and forecasting
Cost centers and cost allocations
Credit risk policies
Managing the companies Trade Finance
Oversight of payroll, financial and management accounting team
Managing external relationships with Banks, Insurers etc.
Requirements:
8 years experience in a similar managerial position having overseen all aspects of finance
Ideally 5 years in International Freight Forwarding sector / managing trade finance function
Knowledge of Cargowise and BBBEE legislation in freight forwarding / logistics sector advantageous
