Description
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
What you will learn and contribute to:
The TPM is the Technical point of contact for DWDM Project
Facilitate escalation within higher levels and provide first point of escalation during the project.
Regular Organization of Technical, Operational, Testing review meetings.
Compile Reports about Testing/Acceptance Process, including statistics and the status of the activities regarding the testing activities.
Compile phase by phase Bill of Materials, scope of works and provide network designs and all associated documentation.
Follow up on technical issues and make available additional highly qualified technical specialists on a per request basis to assist with problems, queries and system integration support during the duration of the project.
You have:
A Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred) and 10+ years of network integration, technical support with optical network technologies.
Technical knowledge/expertise in the following:
Fiber Types (multimode and single-mode (Dispersion Unshifted, Dispersion Shifted and Non Zero Dispersion Shifted)) and Signal Impairments in Fiber (Loss, Dispersion and Mixing)
Modulation / Demodulation (OOK, PSK and QAM)
Signal Structures and Hierarchies (Ethernet, Fiber Channel, SONET, SDH and OTN)
Fixed/Reconfigurable/Tunable/Colourless, Directionless & Contention less OADMs, In-line Optical Amplifiers, Pre- and Post-Amplifier nodal configurations, dimensioning and optimization.
OTN, DWDM and SDH networks reliability and resiliency analysis, planning and design ( O-SNCP,E-SNCP, 1+1 OCh/OMSP) protection based schemes, Electrical GMPLS + Optical GMPLS restoration based schemes).
It would be nice if you also had:
Technical khowledge/experience in the following:
OTN(PSS63,PSS64,PSS-24x), 1830 ONE
NFM-T management system and NSP technology
DWDM (1626LM, 1696MS) and SDH (1660SM, 1662SMC, 1646SMC, 1678MCC)?
