This role is hands-on and varied, and plays a critical part in ensuring high standards of animal welfare, staff safety, and visitor experience.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral maintenance of zoo infrastructure, including enclosures, pathways, fences, and buildingsConstruction and building work, including: Steel and wood structures Enclosure modifications and upgradesBasic brickwork, concrete work o Tiling, painting and plastering Preventative maintenance and fault reportingWorking closely with animal care staff to ensure projects meet welfare and safety requirements
