WORDPRESS DEVELOPER – PLETTENBERG BAY
An established digital
marketing agency serving corporate clients needs a skilled WordPress Developer
who can take on website projects and assist with ongoing maintenance to ensure
our clients' sites run smoothly. Preference will be given to candidates already
living within the Plettenberg Bay/Knysna area.
Responsibilities:
Building
new websites and maintaining existing WordPress sites for their clientsInstalling
and managing Google tracking tools like Google Analytics and Tag ManagerMigrating
websites between hosting providers with minimal downtimeTroubleshooting
and resolving website issues as they ariseCollaborating
with clients and the team to ensure project goals are metManaging
updates and backups to ensure website security and stabilityAssisting
with other web development tasks as needed to support the business maintenance
to ensure their clients' sites run smoothly.
Requirements:
Proven
work experience as a WordPress DeveloperExpertise
in building and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and pluginsExperience
with installing Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and other tracking toolsStrong
understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScriptProficient
with hosting platforms, domain management, and migrating websites between
hostsFamiliarity
with SEO best practicesFluent
in English with excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility
to work independently and manage multiple projectsMust
have a valid driver’s licence and their own carMust be
able to work from the Whale Rock area from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and then
remotelyKnowledge
of office management tools like Google Drive and Google Mail is a plusPreferred: Some
experience in the marketing industry would be a plus.
