Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the butchery, ensuring high-quality meat products, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and leading a team of butchery staff. The ideal candidate must have a very strong background in butchery management, excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise butchery staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality products.
2. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality control in the butchery.
3. Ensure accurate inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
4. Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
1. Relevant qualifications and experience in butchery management. (If you do not have Butchery Management experience, please do not apply)
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions.
5. Proven ability to calculate GP and do Block Tests.
6. Knowledge of Cashing Up, and Cash in Transit will be an advantage.
7. Hands on / Cutting skills.
