Our client seeks to appoint a dynamic Consultant (Sales/Customer Service) to join their team based in Pietermaritzburg. Job Duties • Assists customers - telephonically and personally in establishing their needs and cross sell. • Ensures excellent after-sales service by following up on deliveries and ensuring that the customer is satisfied and seeks future selling opportunities. • Quotes on products customer has selected. • Handles deliveries and organises that the product reaches customer timeously. • Advises existing customers of specials offers • Handles complaints/queries (i.e., customer and Head Office). • Follows up on quotations given. • Processes orders utilising the correct procedures • Ordering of Goods from our Creditors via the system and receipting it • Ordering of Yard stock and receipting when stock arrive at the Centre • Follows up on delivery schedules • Attends to general administration duties, i.e., filing, record keeping, prepares and submits monthly trading reports • Debit and Credit notes – Manually written and captured in the system. • Other duties as assigned by Superior from time to time. • To ensure that customer’s orders are captured and executed timeously and accurately, in accordance with identified customer’s needs. • Maintains excellent housekeeping (i.e., showroom) including displays advertisement boards. Job Requirements • Matric, Studying Towards a Marketing and / or Sales Related Qualification will be an advantage • Minimum 2-3 years relevant proven selling experience Retail sales / Administrative experience • Computer Literacy-MS OFFICE, JDE • Good Interpersonal Skills • Professional Selling Skills • Ability to communicate effectively
