Business Improvement Manager – Cape Town (Elsies River)R 750 000 to R 850 000 (Negotiable based on Qualification & Years of relevant experience)Our client, a reputable and established Global concern within the FMCG arena is currently in search of an innovative Business Improvement Manager to form part of their dynamic team.One would describe you as having strong planning and organizational skills, a decision maker who initiates action and who has solid Business improvement skills. This position is responsible for the delivery of Business Improvement opportunities (operational, production, cost and safety. The role plays an important function in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change across the business.Qualifications & Experience:- Business Management Degree / or similar- Knowledge gained in Business Improvement/related discipline- 5-years’ experience within business environment gained in a FMCG environment (advantageous)- Experience in designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues and track a monitor / measure projects through to successful closure- Experience with hands-on implementation of business improvement programs and Lean solutions- Lean 6 Sigma experience- Sound understanding of financial models and financial metrics- Ability to set-up, facilitate and lead BI workshop sessions with a range of business stakeholders (incl. experience of process/value stream mapping)- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications- Detail orientated- Ability to execute on tasks and close them off- Ability to multitask- Display an understanding of different functions within an organisationKey Responsibilities:Analysis, Process Flows and Solution Definitions- Identify business issues and data challenges of the organisation- Review and update requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution- Create business specific requirements and solutions- Continuously review and monitor progress of BI initiatives- Solution driven designs and outcomes- Providing progress reports- Ensures that issues are identified, tracked, recorded, and resolved in a timely manner- Develop Non-functional requirements like system performance and fault tolerance- Address all audit findings and ensure corrective action is being taken. Provide regular status updates on these, as required- Create process documentation/workflows, and self-service guidance for ICT Services- Facilitate process workflow modelling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases- Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes is achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed-upon service levels
