SUPERVISOR - KNYSNA
5-star boutique hotel requires
the services of an experienced Floor Manager to manage their upmarket and respected
restaurant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·
Provide guests with a consistently high-quality dining experience.
·
Motivate staff and demonstrate superior customer service skills.
·
Ensure compliance with health and safety
regulations.
·
Be responsible for inventory
management, scheduling, and maintaining a positive and efficient environment on
the dining floor.
·
Support the broader restaurant staff, when necessary, by waiting at tables
or seating customers.
·
Be in charge of both responding to customer complaints and resolving
them.
·
As a supervisor, you will also help the team meet its standards for
quality and profitability.
·
Training of new staff and continuous training of existing staff.
·
Provide exceptional customer service and lead staff to do the same
·
Work with staff to project future needs for kitchen supplies, goods, and
cleaning products.
·
Maintain inventory of all needed supplies
·
Identify methods our restaurant can use to cut waste, decrease costs,
and improve profits.
·
Manage the work schedules of the restaurant’s staff
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
MatriculationPrevious
supervisory experience in the hospitality industry preferredProven
ability to work in a fast-paced settingStrong
