The Buddha statue was handmade in Thailand and brought to South Africa as a one off. The statue is made from concrete and weights close to 1 tonne standing 1.8 m tall and 1.5 m wide. The statue as it stands is suitable as an outdoor piece that has been made in a such way that the gap in its base serves to allow water to flow through making it the centre of a traditional water feature. The statue can be completely customised as a work of art for indoor use. Please feel free to inbox me for examples of smaller concrete statues that have been commissioned to be placed indoors using traditional Thai colours (see the last image as an example of what can be done (for illustration purposes only).
