Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery within a fast-paced production environment.Minimum RequirementsQualified and trade tested Millwright or FitterMinimum of 1 year’s post-trade experience in a manufacturing environmentSound knowledge of electrical work (fault finding, basic electrical maintenance)Willingness and ability to work day and night shiftsExperience within a manufacturing / production environment is essentialKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faultsMinimise downtime and ensure production targets are metAdhere to health, safety, and quality standardsWork collaboratively with production and technical teamsIdeal Candidate ProfileHands-on, proactive, and reliableStrong problem-solving and fault-finding abilityComfortable working under pressure in a shift-based environment
