Electro-Mechanical Technician
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our factory maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring that equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimise downtime.
This role suits a hands-on technician with solid experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance on factory machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and fault-find electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Repair and service machines, components, and production equipment
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to reduce production downtime
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to maintenance schedules
• Install, test, and commission machinery and equipment when required
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and manuals
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements
• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
• Assist production teams with machine set-up and operational support where needed
Minimum Requirements
• Qualified Electro-Mechanical Technician / similar technical qualification
• Proven experience in machine maintenance and fault finding in a factory or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors, control panels, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required
• Valid driver’s licence will be an advantage
Preferred Skills
• PLC fault-finding experience
• Experience with production machinery and automated systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Purpose of the Job:
To provide essential support to drivers after they complete their transport drops, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Minimum Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
Grade 12 (NQF 4).
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience as a clerk within a manufacturing environment.
Major Responsibilities and Key Results Areas:
Debriefing and Administration:
Reconcile purchase orders, collect documentation, and manage re-deliveries to trip sheets and proof of deliveries.
Verify each purchase order for date, full name, and signature of the Receiving Clerk.
Maintain accurate administration, records, and reconciliations.
Address any driver or delivery issues that may arise during the shift.
Handle receiving dispatch matters promptly and efficiently.
Cost and Waste Control:
Help limit and control costs by minimizing damage, loss, or waste.
Report incidents to the direct Manager.
Essential Knowledge:
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Experience with SAP

Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content
