Electro-Mechanical Technician We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our factory maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring that equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimise downtime. This role suits a hands-on technician with solid experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or factory environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance on factory machinery and equipment • Diagnose and fault-find electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues • Repair and service machines, components, and production equipment • Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to reduce production downtime • Conduct preventative maintenance according to maintenance schedules • Install, test, and commission machinery and equipment when required • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and manuals • Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements • Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures • Keep accurate maintenance and repair records • Assist production teams with machine set-up and operational support where needed Minimum Requirements • Qualified Electro-Mechanical Technician / similar technical qualification • Proven experience in machine maintenance and fault finding in a factory or manufacturing environment • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems • Experience with motors, drives, sensors, control panels, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure • Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required • Valid driver’s licence will be an advantage Preferred Skills • PLC fault-finding experience • Experience with production machinery and automated systems • Strong attention to detail • Good communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work independently and take initiative What We Offer • A stable full-time position in a growing manufacturing environment • Market-related salary based on experience • Opportunity to work with a variety of machinery and systems • Supportive team environment To Apply Please send your CV to jobapp@rochelleretail.com with the subject line: Electro-Mechanical Technician Application
