This is an opportunity to join a business where projects move from concept through to commissioning with clear accountability and measurable impact.The Role: Project EngineerThe Project Engineer is responsible for managing engineering projects from planning and design through to commissioning and final handover to production. The role ensures projects are delivered within scope, within budget, and in line with operational and OHS requirements. You will coordinate technical design, procurement, contractors, and reporting while maintaining full control of documentation and financial close-out.Key ResponsibilitiesMinimum 35 years experience managing engineering projects within a manufacturing or plant environmentPlan, manage, and deliver engineering projects within defined scope and deadlinesDrive project research and design coordination while ensuring OHS complianceManage project commissioning, testing, training, and full handover to productionCompile and hand over complete project documentation including manuals, work instructions, and maintenance requirementsControl procurement of parts, tools, and materials while monitoring cost competitivenessSource, appoint, and manage contractors and sub-contractors, including agreements and invoice approvalsComplete and manage engineering documentation including NPR, ECP, and PCRCreate and manage jobs on SYSPROProvide weekly and monthly reporting using MS Projects, expenditure tracking, and A3 planningManage snag lists and close out projects for finance capitalisationAbout You35 years experience in project engineering within a manufacturing or plant environmentEngineering background with strong project management capabilityConfident working with SYSPRO and MS ProjectsStrong understanding of engineering documentation processes (NPR, ECP, PCR)Solid knowledge of OHS compliance within project environmentshttps://www.executiveplacements.com/Jobs/P/Project-Engineer-1261256-Job-Search-2-11-2026-2-35-19-AM.asp?sid=gumtree
