THE POSITION Reporting to the Business Development Manager-The incumbent must have previous experience driving code 10 trucks-8 ton and have a valid PrDP. While interacting professionally with clients the incumbent will be responsible for safely transporting Finished Products from factory to customers ensuring damaged free on time in full deliveries.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Ensure your vehicle check list is completed and submitted to the supervisor at the beginning of every shift. Report any damages immediately.Your delivery notebook together with the relevant checklists must be completed in full for every load and the stock recorded correctly.Ensure the relevant quality checks are performed as per procedure.Make sure your load is secured, and that it is properly loaded by the third party to prevent damage to your truck.Ensure you action all request promptly and that you report any challenges immediately.Assist with the scanning and invoicing of stock when required.Maintain constant communication with your supervisor/manager regarding traffic issues, customer related delays etc.Oversee the forklift drivers and ensure the stock is checked and correct.
