Salary Negotiable Our Client is seeking a Junior Designer to develop high-quality, impactful, and compliant fire protection system designs that provide cost-effective solutions for clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical ExecutionDevelop detailed fire protection system designs using Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD 2D.Create three-dimensional CAD models for piping systems to support design, coordination, and fabrication (CAD/CAM).Apply industry standards, codes, and compliance requirements to all designs.Produce Virtual Design Coordination (VDC) documents, including HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Piping disciplines.Standardize and maintain the Revit library to ensure fire compliance.Engage with clients, consultants, and professional teams to present and refine designs as per project requirements.Project Coordination & AdministrationPlan and manage design tasks by prioritizing work in line with project deadlines.Participate in costing of sales proposals by preparing initial designs, engaging with estimators, and optimizing designs for cost-effectiveness.Maintain accurate design records and documentation according to filing conventions.Continuously enhance Revit (CAD) expertise by staying up to date with new developments and best practices.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum Requirements:AutoCAD and/or Revit qualification (essential).ASIB / IFE Certificate or similar (preferred).2 - 3 years experience as a Revit Designer.2 3 years experience as an AutoCAD 2D Designer.Experience in mechanical and piping design.1+ years of technical CAD design experience in the building/construction industry (preferred).Ability to read, interpret, and understand all building-related drawings.Key CompetenciesTechnical Design & ReportingQuality Management & ComplianceRisk AssessmentEffective Communication & Client EngagementPosition DetailsPatterson Grading: B3
