PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE!!!If you've researched Restomods and have come across the Alfaholics GTA-R 290 you will find that the starting price is 320kGBP(R7M) going up to 390kGBP(R8,5m) with a waiting time of several years...before transport costs and import duties.I know it's a different era Alfa, appealing to...wealthy enthsiasts of the 105 seies.Here's your chance to procure a reasonably priced restomod at a fraction of the price... 5% which is one of a kind, with room for improvement or restore back to original with the 12v & 6carbs set-up, it has all the genuine 116 series 3.0L cosmetic bits on the interior and exterior, none are copies, they came from an abandoned 3.0L.Licence is up to date and on my name, Natis papers have the new engine number and car is micro-dotted.Interior is in good condition, the late model long dash is New Old Stock fitted 6 years ago with no sun damage, front door cards need to be replaced.Mechanically: 3.0L 24v motor is good, cambelt etc due for replacement ,cambelt service last done 15/9/21 and has only done 7500km since, only used for Natalfa Club runs and the odd weekend drive. Recent oil service, with new oil, oil filter and fuel filter. Complete sub assembly, including flywheel and clutch pressure plate has been balanced.Powermods ECU does need a remap after replacing Crank position sensor, running a bit too rich now.Getrag front mount gearbox is good, no 2nd gear grind as with most Alfas of this time, was fitted from the time this car was turbocharged. Prop u-joints need replacing after 25 years of trouble free motoring. Alfa 6 sedan diff and De Dion rear suspension. 12" Discs upfront with Alfa 166 front callipers.Original and spare keys.Will be sold with brand new battery.I do have more pics and videos that I can whatsapp you.Body is pretty good with minimal rust. After capitalising R550k and 5500 hours of labour and I can ask more but realise that there is work to be done on the car, which has been factored in, the car needs a new enthusiast to carry on the stewardship of this unique car.I'm only asking R395 000 or nearest cash offer. 1966 Ford Anglia 1600

The 105E is a real gem with its famous big bore short stroke engine, which allowed it to be modified with great success.This version is fitted with a Ford 1600 cc (Escort Sport engine) with a downdraft Weber carburettor and sports cam. Car is in very good condition - running with a new battery.The well-known Cosworth brand was formed when Mike Costin and Keith Duckworth, both brilliant engineers, got together and developed first of all the Cosworth MAE engine (Modified Anglia Engine). The 105E, in MAE form, was soon revving to over 9000 rpm from its base 5000 rpm in standard form! This amazing engine was soon developed into the Single Cam A Series (SCA) and later into the 5 main bearing and Four Valve A Series (FVA). A very notable car in its era before independent rear suspension took over. It was known to be very reliable and economical transport for a small family. It also had a fair turn of speed and was able to touch 70 mph!Restoration about 90% complete. A little TLC needed.The engine is a little smoky and needs a bit of attention. A perfect answer to this would be to fit a 1200 or 1400 Nissan engine and gearbox.
