As the Senior Media Strategist, your job is to be the conduit between the client and the agency, identifying client needs and clearly articulating them back to the agency. To do so, you’ll need to research and analyse the intended audience, develop media strategies and use various technologies to determine what type of communication will have the best performances. At the same time, you will need to work hard at getting the best out of your team, while learning as much about the client’s business as possible to ensure you are seen as a valuable partner.

* Explore media alternatives and be naturally innovative in recommending media solutions; determine the solution, deliver the recommendation and stand behind it
* Manage and train all team members
* Conduct work and performance reviews, inductions and staff training
* Be revenue conscious and set accurate revenue targets and projections
* Create, maintain and analyse sound strategic media plans based on comprehensive research
* Share campaign results and learnings and present this data timeously
* Understand the media landscape and produce sound strategies and proactive proposals

Specific AccountabilitiesDesign Responsibilities:Conceptualise and design brochure spreads which correctly interprets the brief and is in line with the annual and quarterly planEnsure all creative meets the brand guidelines at all timesManage and update the date band file for each categoryEnsure strong category stories through creative design on all brochures and additional material with strong focus on cover and lead brand stories to ensure consumer engagementDrive clear and simple brochure message – merchandising and visualsBe the overall brand custodian, understand the ASC Brand and tone – apply this knowledge to all projectsAlways push the creative boundaries and find new ways to merchandise and feature visually impactful product photographyAttend and participate all briefs, discuss and understand the core message and target audience.
