Our client in the educational industry has a vacancy for a Journals Production Editor / Coordinator to join their scholarly publishing team.
The Journals Production Editor / Coordinator manages written texts through the publishing production process. You will be responsible for assessing the quality of work delivered by copy editors and proofreaders and ensuring that the Publishers house style is adhered to in all published work. The Journals Production Coordinator is also responsible for working with layout editors to ensure that the texts overall presentation and its elements (e.g., tables and figures) meet the style and quality requirements. The Journals Production Coordinator manages the quality of papers and production schedule from acceptance to print and online deliveries and monitors page usage and other journal metrics.

PURPOSE OF ROLE• • The HR Specialist will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and possible external partners and is responsible for the end to end life cycle of the employee • The main duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. The Contributions Manager is responsible for the overall management of the contribution department. The duties include, managing, planning, monitoring and reporting. Providing assistance to Client Services, the Call Centre, Claims team, employers and external service providers. The Contributions Manager reports to the Head Administration.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet production standards in terms of quantity and quality.
Liaise with employers and service providers both written and verbal.
Devote the whole of your time, attention and abilities during working hours to the discharge of your duties with strict accuracy.

Coordinate and monitor all contribution related activities which includes monthly contribution cycles, ad hoc contributions, data maintenance and client enquiries.
Ensure all funds comply and is administered according to the rules, policies, legislation, administration procedures and the service level agreements applicable to each fund.Identify, develop, enhance and implement policies and procedures that are relevant to the contributions department.Follow up on audit findings and recommendations.Compile job descriptions for all levels within the contributions department.Set and agree performance areas with staff and manage employee performance.Delegate work to staff.Coordinate departmental leave.Compile accurate reports required by management in the required format.Any other duties as determined by the Head: Administration.
