- Technical Leadership & Execution
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of VR/XR applications, ensuring high-performance, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Provide technical architecture oversight, including code reviews, design patterns, and optimisation.
- Develop prototypes and explore emerging XR technologies to enhance the companys portfolio.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, 3D artists, and QA teams to deliver immersive and interactive experiences.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of developers, 3D artists, and testers.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and guide career development of team members.
- Project & Process Management
- Plan and manage multiple VR/XR projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones are met on time.
- Implement best practices in agile/Scrum methodologies, version control, and pipelines.
- Monitor workflows to maximise productivity, minimise technical debt, and maintain quality.
- Budget & Resource Management
- Assist with project costing and operational budgeting.
- Ensure resource allocation and procurement of hardware/software meet project requirements.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as the technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
