Systems Administrator

Im urgently looking for Systems Administrators who can ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of IT operations.
These contract roles will give you exposure to fast-paced environments, modern technologies, and opportunities to grow within infrastructure and systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux).
• Install, configure, and support hardware, software, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and performance issues.
• Perform backups, disaster recovery, and system restore processes.
• Maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and File/Print Services.
• Support virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V).
• Monitor system performance and implement improvement solutions.
• Ensure system security through patching, updates, and compliance checks.
• Provide 2nd & 3rd line support across infrastructure.
• Document configurations, procedures, and maintenance tasks.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in IT, Information Systems, or Computer Science.

Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong experience with Windows Server or Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain services.
• Network knowledge: LAN/WAN, VLANs, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPN.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with backup tools (Veeam, Acronis, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell/Bash).
