Junior BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards
• Write and improve SQL queries to retrieve and structure data
• Support data pipeline activities within cloud based data environments
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Validate data accuracy and resolve basic data issues
• Maintain documentation related to queries reports and data flows
• Escalate complex challenges to senior team members when required

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• A diploma or degree in information technology computer science engineering or a related field
• One to two years experience within a data analysis reporting or business intelligence role
• Exposure to SQL Server database environments is essential
• Any practical exposure to cloud based data platforms is advantageous
• Ability to write intermediate SQL queries including joins and aggregations
• Basic understanding of reporting or data visualisation tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving ability
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative working approach
• Willingness to learn and grow under guidance
