A leading tyre retailer in Johannesburg is looking for an enthusiastic, Afrikaans-speaking Junior Manager to join their dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their management career within the tyre and automotive retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist staff in daily store operations to ensure the branch runs smoothly.
- Deliver efficient customer service and resolve complaints in line with company values.
- Support the Branch Manager with sales growth, effective merchandising, and stock control.
- Oversee tyre fitting, balancing, and general workshop activities, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all operations comply with safety and company regulations.
- Actively participate in staff training, motivate the team, and help drive promotional activities.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Afrikaans (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Must reside in the Johannesburg West area.
- Minimum 2 years experience in retail, automotive, or tyre environment, preferably as a Junior Manager.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a customer-focused approach.
- Matric / Grade 12 (industry-related qualifications an advantage).
- Valid drivers license.
- Solid financial skills and advanced computer literacy.
