Internal Sales Representative

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
• 3-5 years of experience in the Hardware, Tool or Plumbing Industry in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage Evolution.

Sales Responsibilities:

• New Business Development: Source new customers via phone.
• Customer Engagement: Make regular calls/emails to inform customers about promotions and product lines.
• Sales Coordination: Convert sales orders to invoices accurately.
• Rep Assignments: Facilitate customer visits by assigned sales reps.

Backorder Management:

• Monitor and update backorders (not older than 5 days).
• Daily checks and releases of backorders.
• Generate backorder reports for management.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

• Update customers on delivery/supply issues and gather feedback.
• Monitor customer accounts (credit limits) and anticipate potential issues.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and calls.
