Experienced Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an experienced restaurant manager to run a busy restaurant in the Moses Mabhida stadium area of Durban. The candidate needs to have previous experience working in a high pressure environment and must have the capability to oversee the complete running of a restaurant. The key responsibilities are:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Manage, train, and motivate front-of-house staff.
• Maintain high customer service standards and manage escalations.
• Oversee staff scheduling, attendance, and performance.
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and operational standards are consistently met.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination.
• Conduct cash-ups and manage daily operational controls.
• Handle opening and closing procedures.
• Support senior management in implementing service improvements.
• Monitor service flow and ensure effective floor management.
• Uphold company policies and operational processes.
• Ensure smooth communication between kitchen and floor teams.
• Contribute to a well-organised and professional work environment.
