We are seeking a professional and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our food and beverage operations and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel restaurant, managing staff performance, maintaining service standards, and ensuring smooth and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and food service areas
• Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
• Manage staff schedules and daily shift operations
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
• Control stock levels, ordering, and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery
• Assist in achieving revenue targets and controlling operational costs

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality management role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food service, and stock control
• Computer literacy and basic administrative skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Matric (required)
• Hospitality or Restaurant Management qualification (advantageous)
