Snr Maintenance Technician - Quality Crate Manufacturers

Job Purpose

To ensure maximum machine uptime through advanced fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and technical leadership within the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute preventative and breakdown maintenance on all production machinery.
• Must have general mechanical skills.
• Maintain injection moulding machines, compressors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot electrical panels and basic PLC faults (Programmable Logic Controller) where applicable.
• Implement and manage a structured maintenance schedule.
• Conduct root cause analysis to reduce recurring breakdowns.
• Supervise and guide junior maintenance staff where required.
• Ensure compliance with OHS and safety procedures.
• Manage critical spare parts and assist with maintenance cost control.
• Electrical experience is a plus.

Minimum Requirements

• Trade Tested Artisan
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing
• Strong mechanical and electrical experience

Plastics / injection moulding experience advantageous
