We are a well-established printing company in Saxenburg Park, Blackheath seeking an experienced Quality Controller (Rewinder) to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the RotoFlex rewinder efficiently
• Conduct quality checks on printed material to ensure it meets company and customer standards
• Identify and report print defects, registration issues, colour variations, and material faults
• Ensure correct slitting, rewinding, and roll specifications
• Maintain accurate quality and production records
• Work closely with press operators and supervisors to resolve quality issues
• Adhere to health, safety, and housekeeping standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Controller / Rewinder in a printing environment
• Hands-on experience with a RotoFlex machine (essential)
• Strong understanding of print quality standards
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work shifts if required

Advantageous:

• Experience in labels and packaging
• Knowledge of ISO or quality management systems
