INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an installation technician
• Valid unendorsed driver’s license
• Proven ability to work under pressure and show attention to detail
• Punctual
• Own reliable transport to work

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

The Installation Technician will be installing premium grade see-through burglar bars, safety gates, screens, spikes, and shutters in the East Rand area. The technician should be able to take exact measurements and cut items to the exact size. Installation of gates and bars should be done accurately and neatly. Training will also be provided.

DUTIES

• Accurate measurements
• Installation of safety bars and gates
• Ensuring accuracy and tidiness
• Always be courteous and presentable
• Ensuring site is left in a tidy condition upon completion of a job - removal of all waste material from client’s premises
• Attend product demonstration days over weekends once per month
• Ensuring all tools and equipment are handled with care to avoid damages to the tools, equipment, and customer’s property
