Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a leading developer of prestigious residential estates and commercial properties, recognized with numerous international awards. Our Construction and Engineering recruitment team is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to fill a key vacancy.

Requirements

• Experience 5 years solid experience in building, high density residential ideal
• Grade 12 with Mathematics
• Quantity Surveying University Honours Degree or at least a B Tech Degree
• Clean criminal record
• Valid South African ID essential
• Familiar with CCS Candy or similar project software
• Head Office based and travel to various sites as and when required

Responsibilities

• Will be working in a team, must be a team player
• Must be strong candidate, self-motivated and self-starter in a high pressure environment
• Candidate must have leadership skills and take full ownership of all commercial aspects surrounding the project
• Must be able to implement systems where required
• Must have been involved in various sites on large residential projects
• Must have strong negotiating skills and be able to build relationships with all stakeholders on the project
• Willing to go the extra mile to ensure successful projects
