Mechatronics Technician Engineer

Do you enjoy a bit of CAD, a bit of spanner-turning, and a healthy mix of problem-solving? Our client is on the lookout for a hands-on Mechatronics Technician or Engineer whos just as comfortable in front of SolidWorks as they are tightening bolts on a custom-built machine.
Were a small team with big ideas, specialising in custom-designed machinery for the food and automation industry. Every day is different. If you love working on machines that dont exist yet (because you help design them), this is the place for you.
What you'll be doing:

• Designing parts and machines in SolidWorks
• Creating detailed manufacturing drawings for our workshop
• Double-checking the quality of parts
• Assembling machine components
• Occasionally hitting the road for on-site installs or maintenance
• Swapping between desk and workshop we like a mix of brain and hands

What you need to have:

• 13 years experience in mechanical CAD design (SolidWorks preferred)
• A love for engineering, tinkering, and making things work
• A team player mindset were all in this together
• A qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering is a big plus
• Any of these skills? Even better:
• • CNC machining
  • PLC programming (we use Omron)
  • Panel building
  • Computer programming
