Key ResponsibilitiesManage disciplinary processes from initiation through to conclusion.Chair and/or facilitate disciplinary hearings.Represent the company during CCMA conciliations and arbitrations.Prepare documentation and evidence bundles for labour-related matters.Provide expert advice on labour legislation, policies, and IR best practices.Ensure compliance with the Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), and other applicable legislation.Conduct workplace investigations into misconduct and grievances.Support managers with employee relations matters and conflict resolution.Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across multiple sites.Maintain accurate IR records, reports, and documentation.Travel to operational sites as required to provide IR support.Minimum RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related qualification.Minimum 35 years proven Industrial Relations experience, preferably within the construction, engineering, or related industry.Extensive experience conducting disciplinary hearings and managing grievance procedures.Proven experience representing employers at CCMA conciliations and arbitrations.Strong working knowledge of South African labour legislation.Excellent report writing, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Valid Code B drivers licence (essential).Willingness to travel extensively.Preferred ExperienceExperience within the construction or contracting environment.Exposure to unionised workforces.Experience working across multiple operational sites.What Were Looking ForStrong attention to detail.Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Professional, confident, and objective approach.High level of integrity and confidentiality.Ability to build strong relationships with management and employees.
