Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the E&I engineering team to deliver high-quality design, development, and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Oversee project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise in OEM equipment design, integration, and fabrication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, process, and project engineering departments.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Implement and uphold engineering best practices, standards, and quality control measures.
- Support project management activities including resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (BEng/BTech preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within an industrial environment.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior engineering role.
- In-depth knowledge of OEM equipment design and fabrication.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Strong proficiency in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Advantageous:
- Project Management certification (PMP/Prince2 or similar).
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
