Qualifications & Experience
  • Eng/B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • 26 years experience in thermal or mechanical design
  • Strong knowledge of heat-transfer and mechanical design principles
  • Experience with heat-exchanger design software (e.g., Unilab, Coil Designer)
  • Familiarity with relevant design codes (ASME, SANS, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset

  • Design Quality: Accuracy and minimal rework
  • Responsiveness: Timely completion of calculations and design outputs
  • Collaboration: Effective support to Sales and internal teams
  • Cost Awareness: Optimised, manufacturable design solutions
  • Project Handover: Clear and complete documentation
