We are seeking a highly skilled and Trade Tested Plumber with at least 3 years of experience specifically within municipal environments or large-scale public infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate isn't just a "fix-it" expert; you understand the bureaucracy, compliance standards, and heavy-duty systems unique to city-level plumbing and water management.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain large-scale water supply and sewage systems.
- Compliance & Inspection: Ensure all work meets municipal bylaws and national building codes.
- System Diagnostics: Utilize advanced tools to locate leaks or blockages in complex public piping networks.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of work completed for municipal audit and safety purposes.
- Emergency Response: Handle high-pressure repairs on main lines and public facilities.
- Certification: Valid Red Seal (or equivalent) Trade Test certificate.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience specifically in municipal or public works plumbing.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of blueprints, hydraulic systems, and municipal water meter installations.
- Driver’s License: Valid Code 8 (or higher) license with a clean record.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to work in confined spaces and various outdoor weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for both pre-contract and
post-contract functions, including (but not limited too): costing,
estimating, tender briefing attendance and pricing for tender submissions.
The successful candidate will be expected to prepare detailed
cost estimates, bills of quantities, and pricing schedules for tenders per
tender requirements. In addition to above, work closely with Project Management
team to ensure cost control and mitigate any potential leakages on project
expenditures.Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare
tender estimates, budgets and cash flows.Monitor
and control project costs to ensure that the project remains within
budget.Provide
cost estimates and financial forecasting to support tender and project
decision-making.Draft
and prepare Bills of Quantities, review tender documents and manage
contract evaluation and negotiation of the terms and conditions.Draft,
review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and
service providers. Ensure that all contracts are executed in compliance

detailed budgets and financial reports for projects. Monitor expenditures,
