Description
Job Description:
- Assist in the structural design and analysis of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings
- Prepare structural calculations, models, drawings, and technical documentation
- Work closely with the professional team to ensure accurate interpretation and delivery of design requirements
- Attend project meetings and participate in design coordination
- Conduct site inspections and prepare associated reports
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support the development of efficient, innovative, and compliant structural solutions
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 35 years structural engineering experience
- Strong software exposure, including: Revit, Tekla, Prokon
- Experience in commercial building design (essential)
- Ability to attend and contribute to technical and coordination meetings
- Ability to conduct site inspections and assess structural compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Qualification:
- BSc or BTech in Civil Engineering.
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
