Job Description:
- Prepare, cast, and cure test specimens with precision
- Conduct standard and advanced destructive tests on concrete, composites, and steel
- Support R&D engineers with prototype assembly and load testing
- Capture, report, and visually document test results accurately
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; manage materials inventory
- Ensure strict lab safety and quality standards are upheld
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 13 years hands-on experience in a materials lab.
- Familiarity with SANS, ASTM, or ISO testing standards.
- Strong organization, precision, and practical, hands-on mindset.
- Preferred: Experience with fibre-reinforced concrete or polymer composites, and hydraulic testing equipment.
Qualification:
- National Diploma, BTech, or BSc in Civil Engineering, Material Science
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
