ROLE PURPOSE To support the decking division with technical sales assistance, customer engagement, slab layout advice, production planning, and occasional site measurements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Technical Sales & Customer SupportAssist with walk-in, telephonic, and email customers with product selection and quotations.Provide technical guidance regarding lintels, rib & block slabs, and related structural productPrepare and follow up on quotationsBuild and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and retail clientsAssist with order processing and customer communication2. Technical & Design SupportAssist with slab layout drawings and quantity calculationsInterpret architectural and structural drawingsProvide basic technical advice on slab systems and installation requirementsCollaborate closely with the Division Manager on project planning and technical queries 3. Production & Order CoordinationAssist with production planning and schedulingLiaise with factory and installation teams regarding order specificationsEnsure technical accuracy of orders before productionMonitor order progress and communicate timelines to customers4. External Customer & Site SupportConduct occasional site visits to measure slab areas, verify installation requirements, and support customers with technical adviceAssist with problem-solving on active projects where required 5. Administrative & Operational SupportMaintain accurate job records and documentationAssist with pricing updates and product data managementSupport sales reporting and pipeline tracking MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Building / Construction Technology, Draughting, or relevant technical certificate or diploma REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 2+ years in construction, technical sales, or related industryExposure to concrete products, slab systems, or structural components (advantageous)Experience reading construction drawingsExperience dealing with contractors or customers TECHNICAL SKILLS Ability to read and interpret building plansBasic slab or structural layout understandingStrong numeracy and quantity calculation abilityComputer literate (Excel, Outlook, Word)Experience with CAD or slab design software (advantageous) PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Excellent attention to det
