Store Designer

What we are looking for: We are in need of an innovative and creative Store Designer who has strong design concept skills.

What you will do: 

•  Interpret design and retail trends by conducting benchmarking analysis on our competitors
• Develop and design in-store concepts including colour, materials, look, feel etc
• Design equipment
• Brief the Architect to accurately complete detailed drawings based on concepts developed
• Brief Procurement and Equipment Manager on new equipment detail and quantities
• Provide input to the implementation plan for all new store layout changes, by consulting with Sales Management and Space Planning teams
• Conduct store visits to ensure that concept designs are accurately implemented

What you must have:

• 3/4 year technical degree e.g. Bachelor Architecture, Bachelor Industrial Design, National Diploma/Bachelor Interior Design
• Up to 5 years retail and commercial interior/architecture design experience
• Commercial skills
• Superior computer drawing and 3D skills
• Creativity, awareness of design trends, brand building
• Analyse and interpret information
• Spatial, dimensional and proportional orientation
• Excellent attention to detail
