Electrical Design Engineer – Motion Control Specia

A highly respected manufacturer of advanced liquid packaging solutions, is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with a focus on motion control applications to join their growing Engineering team. Key Responsibilities:

• Design detailed electrical circuits in line with the company’s design standards.

• Develop and commission PLC-based automation control systems tailored to machine and production requirements.

• Conduct in-house electrical testing and commissioning of equipment.

• Maintain and update technical documentation to reflect “as built” status.

• Provide technical support during machine builds, assist with customer queries on imported equipment, and support field technicians as needed.

• Travel locally and internationally as part of project delivery and commissioning support.

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering (B-Tech or B-Eng preferred).

• 3–5 years’ experience in motion control and automation system commissioning.

• 3–5 years’ experience in PLC automation design and control systems development.

• Programming experience in Siemens TIA Portal is essential.

• Additional experience with CODESYS, Allen Bradley, Delta ISP Soft, B&R Automation Studio, etc. is advantageous.

• 1–2 years’ experience in electrical circuit design (preferably using E-Plan).

• Solid understanding of electrical standards and how to apply them in design.
